Mary P. Lilley
Mary started Greenfield in 1998 after
17 years of varied experience at the local
and regional level in North Carolina. She
offers clients a variety of skills, including
economic development planning, client and
project management, strategic planning,
leadership development, and existing
industry program development.

Her expertise in economic development at the local level and
in coordinating federal/state/local assistance for major projects are
essential to offering clients a complete approach to economic
development projects.

Mary has worked in all types of economic development
structures:
in a County Department, directly for County Commissioners, within
a Chamber of Commerce, and in a non-profit corporation. She has
also been a Board Member of a regional organization. These varied
experiences give her unique insight into the demands on local economic
development programs and staff – making her extremely successful at
project negotiations at the local level.

A graduate of Duke University, Mary sits on the boards of several economic development organizations in North Carolina and is Guest Lecturer at the North Carolina Economic Development Institute.

Robin Hiott Spinks
Robin Hiott Spinks has spent equal
time on all three sides of the economic
development business – as a community
recruiter selling industrial locations, as
an owner buying industrial properties,
and as a site selection consultant
comparing communities for industrial
locations.

Robin’s partnership in Greenfield is a return to consulting with a
unique understanding of the needs of the customers. Because of her
background in site selection, Robin has worked on projects in over
35 states, giving her a very broad knowledge of the economies of
many different communities, and their strengths and weaknesses.
